DINA JEFFRIES – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – Dina’s educational background is in pediatric medicine, and she has been serving in the nonprofit realm since 1991. She recently was the CEO for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest for the past 13 ½ years and is now excited to continue her passion for leading service as the CEO of the South Plains Food Bank. She is a graduate of the Kellogg’s School of Executive Nonprofit Management, Leadership Texas, and currently serves on the City of Lubbock Community Engagement Task Force.
Dina was raised in Lubbock and was given the opportunity to live in various places while her husband served in the military. Dina has been married to her husband, Steve, for 33 years. Their son, Alec, is a Lubbock police officer and will be marrying Caitlynn Adams in August 2020. No bio would be complete without including the four-legged family members – her two yellow labs, Gracie and Jax!
